The County Dolphins

For nearly 40 years, The County Dolphins Swim Club has been helping young swimmers build confidence, valuable life skills, and competitive spirit through supportive, team-based aquatics.

After an over two-year hiatus, the Dolphins announce a return to the pool in the spring of 2026 with a fab new name to better reflect the team’s focus: The County Dolphins Swim Club.

October 2021 - June 2023

Post-Pandemic Return

In the wake of the global pandemic, The Quinte Dolphins return to full programming under Head Coaches Beth Vader (2021-2022) and Andrea Taylor (2022-2023), both of whom swam with the Dolphins in their youth.

The club incorporates as a non-profit organization and registers with a new name, The Quinte Dolphins.

The club amalgamates with the Trenton Dolphins

The Quinte Blue Fins

Two years after a prominent local family opens the Picton Rec-Plex (now the Prince Edward Fitness and Recreation Centre - PEFAC), the County's first swim club is born, originally named The Quinte Blue Fins.
